Temi Nkem has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, defeating nine finalists to claim the coveted crown at the reality show’s grand finale on Sunday.

Nkem was announced as the winner during the live finale of the “Show Ya Sef” edition on Sunday, October 4, 2026, bringing to an end 70 days of intense competition, strategic gameplay, evictions, twists and memorable moments inside the Big Brother house.

Her victory secured the season’s grand prize package valued at ₦160 million, comprising cash and a brand-new SUV, alongside other sponsored prizes.

Nkem’s triumph came after she survived a competitive final stretch that initially featured nine housemates: Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.

The finale featured a series of evictions before the winner was finally announced, with Barry, Oyin, Ricky and Flora among those whose journeys ended during the live show.

Nkem beats Aikou, Sheba

As the finale progressed, the competition was eventually narrowed down to the leading contenders.

Sheba finished as the second runner-up, while Aikou emerged as the first runner-up, leaving Nkem to take the ultimate prize.

Nkem’s victory capped a season that began on July 26 with 24 housemates entering Biggie’s house to compete for the biggest prize in the show’s history.

The contestants were subjected to weekly tasks, Head of House challenges, nominations, evictions and a series of twists designed to test their social, strategic and competitive abilities.

One of the defining moments of the season came when Barry won the Ultimate Veto Power and was subsequently given the option of either protecting the housemates or leaving them vulnerable to eviction.

He opted for immunity for all, helping secure places in the finale for the remaining housemates at that stage.

Another major twist saw Nkem, Ricky and Tram apparently evicted before the trio were revealed to have been part of a fake eviction twist and returned to the competition.

Nkem subsequently made it through to the final night, where she faced some of the strongest remaining contestants for the crown.

A season of twists and drama

The “Show Ya Sef” edition also recorded a major disciplinary moment when Victor Ikpe, popularly known as Keivo, was disqualified following a physical confrontation involving fellow housemate Tram.

Throughout the season, Nkem remained one of the housemates who generated significant attention among viewers.

In the final week, she used her diary-room campaign to make a case for why she deserved the crown and also backed Sheba as the housemate she would support if she did not win.

The finalists were eventually left to the judgement of viewers through the voting process, with voting closing ahead of the grand finale.

After weeks of uncertainty, Nkem’s name was the final one called.

Her victory now places her among the winners of Big Brother Naija, giving her the platform, prize money and nationwide visibility that have become synonymous with the reality television franchise.

The Season 11 finale also featured performances from Nigerian artistes, including Teni and Oshamo, as viewers watched the final stage of the competition unfold.

For Nkem, the long journey that began with 24 housemates has ended with the ultimate prize — the BBNaija Season 11 crown and ₦160 million prize package.
