I’m Moving to Reconcile With Adelabu, Folarin, Olaniyan, Buhari, Other APC Aspirants in Oyo – Senator Alli

The lawmaker representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has disclosed plans to reconcile with other governorship aspirants in the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as part of efforts to strengthen the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking during a meeting with members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, at the Press Centre, Iyaganku, Ibadan, on Monday, Alli said the party must embrace unity despite the growing number of aspirants seeking its governorship ticket.
According to him, every aspirant in the race is qualified, noting that disagreements are inevitable whenever several credible individuals aspire to the same position.
“There is no crisis that cannot be resolved. All the aspirants are qualified. Where you have many aspirants, there are bound to be conflicts and differences of opinion,” he said.
The senator disclosed that he has commenced moves to reconcile with leading aspirants within the party, including former Senate Leader, Senator Teslim Folarin; Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu; former Deputy Governor, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo? (If you meant Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, use that name); Senator Abdulfatai Buhari; and other stakeholders.
He stressed that the reconciliation effort is aimed at fostering unity within the APC and positioning the party for victory in the 2027 governorship election in Oyo State.
Alli urged party members to place the collective interest of the APC above personal ambitions, expressing confidence that a united party would stand a stronger chance of reclaiming power in the state.
