VeryDarkMan Declares Gbajabiamila ‘100% Innocent’ in PFIPC Bribery Allegations

Popular social media activist, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has declared that the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, is “100 percent innocent” of allegations linking him to a purported ₦400 million bribe in the ongoing Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) controversy.  

In a video shared on his social media platforms, VeryDarkMan said his independent review of the matter convinced him that Gbajabiamila had no involvement in the alleged bribery scheme. He maintained that the accusations made against the Chief of Staff were not supported by credible evidence and urged Nigerians to focus on verified facts rather than speculation.  

The controversy began after Adeniyi Adeyemi, who claimed to be the Director-General of the PFIPC, alleged that Gbajabiamila received ₦400 million through proxies to facilitate his appointment and later demanded an additional ₦200 million. Gbajabiamila has consistently denied the allegations, insisting that he neither knows Adeyemi nor had any dealings with him.  

The Federal Government has also distanced the Presidency from the PFIPC, describing it as a fictitious agency whose inclusion in the 2026 budget is under investigation. President Bola Tinubu has directed the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to investigate the circumstances surrounding the matter.  

VeryDarkMan’s remarks have generated widespread reactions on social media, with supporters welcoming his position while others insist that the ongoing official investigation should be allowed to determine the facts surrounding the PFIPC scandal.
